A Licensed Veterinary Technician is the captain of the your pet's health care team. They have undergone years of education and experience to earn their license. They keep up with the most current trends in veterinary medicine with voluntary and mandatory continuing education. Licensed technicians are directly responsible for anesthesia induction and monitoring, hospital treatments and nursing care, collecting and analyzing lab samples, and dental care.
(Tech in training)
Our veterinary assistants are essential to the smooth operation of the practice. The veterinary assistants work side by side with the veterinary technicians and doctors. The veterinary assistants have a high level of valuable experience and training in animal handling, nursing care, treatment procedures, laboratory work, radiology and surgical assisting.
Daily here at BBVH doctors are paired up with an assistant. The assistant serves as a point of contact to keep you updated about the status of your hospitalized pet. As well as helping the Doctor with examinations, and daily treatments.
Our customers service representatives (CSR) are the face of the practice. They are the first voice you hear when you call and the first to greet your pet (and you) when you come in the door.
